Entwicklung und Validierung eines hygrothermischen Raumklimamodells - WUFI-PLUS
Abstract

Well-balanced conditions of thermal, moisture ans air quality are very important in buildings because an unbalance of these factors could have significant influences of the construction and the inhabitants, for example damage of the building fabric, a reduction of the thermal comfort or higher energy consumption. For an easier and competitive possibility to estimate the climate conditions in buildings the Fraunhofer-Institute for Building Physics developed a hygrothermal simulation tool. With this software the temperature and moisture conditions of the walls, ceiling and floor constructions, of the indoor air and the energy consumption for the building could calculate. For the validation of this software WUFI-PLUS experiments were made at the free field investigation area in Holzkirchen under real conditions. The investigations were made in two identical rooms and there the temperature and moisture conditions were measured on different places and also the energy consumption was measured constantly in both rooms. At the beginning the parameters which could have an influence to the indoor conditions were controlled because then it's easier to validate and understand what happen in the rooms. For these test the temperature and the air change rate were controlled constantly and additional moisture was produced in the rooms. The moisture production simulates a profile pf a 3-person-household relating to the size of the room. During the test different materials for the wall finishing was inserting in one of the roms and the aim of the tests were to measure the moisture buffering effect of the materials. With the measurement data calculations were carried out with the software tool WUFI-PLUS for the validation of it. The comparison between measurements and calculations were quite good and the influence of different materials shows a good agreement with the measurements. In this paper the results of the tests and calculations are described and additional the possibilities of the developed software will be shown.
