Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft eine thermoplastische Formmasse, die eine Matrixphase aus einem Polysaccharidester und einem darin eingebauten nanoskaligen Fuellstoff enthaelt, wobei die Formmasse frei von Weichmachern ist. Ebenso betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahrn zur Herstellung derartiger Formmassen. Die Erfindung betrifft ausserdem aus diesen Formmassen hergestellte Formteile und ein entsprechendes Herstellungsverfahren. Verwendung finden die Formteile als hochfeste und/oder hochbeanspruchte Konstruktionsbauteile, als Platten, Folien, Borsten, Monofilamente oder Fasern.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing plasticizer-free thermoplastic molding composition comprising homogenously mixing the nanoscalic filler, under the influence of mechanical shearing forces, with the matrix phase; (2) molded parts prepared from the above molding composition; and (3) a method for preparing the molded parts comprising processing the above thermoplastic molded composition by extrusion (preferably profile and film extrusion), injection molding, injection blow molding, pressing or melt spinning. USE - The thermoplastic molding composition is useful for preparing molded parts that are useful as high-strength and/or highly stressed construction components, plate, film, bristle, monofilament or fiber in the area of transportation and communication, industrial sector, machinery and plant construction, household appliances, container construction, medical technology and electrical and electronics (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The thermoplastic molding composition exhibits high strength and stiffness even in the absence of plasticizers. The addition of nanoscalic fillers (preferably nanoscalic phyllosilicate) after incorporation into the matrix provides the effect of the addition of plasticizers and also provides the characteristics of reduced gas and liquid permeability, and increased flame and heat resistance.
