Direkte Mensch-Roboter Kooperation in einer flexiblen Montagezelle

Direct man robot cooperation in a flexible assembly cell
Abstract

The boundary conditions in production demand an increasing product and capacity flexibility of production systems. But with a strict separation of man and robot in existence this flexibility cannot be achieved. Therefore the Fraunhofer Institut for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart tries to find innovative solutions for an optimal division of work of manual and automatic capabilities. One approach is to create a common work station for man and robot.
